Trunature Digestive Probiotic Review
I recently came across TruNature digestive probiotics while browsing Amazon and decided to try this blend of probiotics to see if it is effective or not in this review.
TruNature is a brand of probiotics, digestive, and dietary supplements owned by Costco Wholesale. It is considered among the most popular probiotic brands in the US and has been around for years.
In this TruNature Digestive Probiotic Review, I will share my experience of using TruNature digestive probiotics. I will tell you about every aspect of this popular probiotic brand, including whether it helped me with my stomach issues or not.
TruNature Digestive Probiotic Ingredients & Strains
TruNature Digestive Probiotic contains a proprietary blend of 3 probiotic strains:
- 1Lactobacillus acidophilus
- 2Bifidobacterium lactis
- 3L. rhamnosus GG
Each capsule contains 10 billion CFUs and contains cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, and titanium dioxide in addition to the probiotic blend. The Probiotic is free of soy, free of gluten, and dairy-free making it suitable for vegans and a healthy immune system.
I was initially not happy with the low 10 billion CFU count, but TruNature digestive probiotic offers three quite potent strains of probiotics with known health benefits. L. acidophilus may be able to prevent diarrhea, improve symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome, and also potentially lower your cholesterol levels. (1)
Bifidobacterium lactis is another strain found in TruNature digestive probiotics that may help deal with digestive issues such as irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, constipation, diarrhea, and infection. (2) L. rhamnosus GG is among the most widely used probiotic strains and may sometimes be used for treating diarrhea, IBS, for improving gut health, and for treating or preventing urinary tract infection although the peer-reviewed clinical studies are limited. (3)
Overall, the strains used in TruNature are time-tested ones and are known to help with digestive conditions. CFU count, on the other hand, is a bit disappointing as 10 billion CFUs may not be enough if you are dealing with a chronic digestive issue. If you need something with a higher CFU count, you could try Livewell Pro 45 or Garden Of Life.
I did not have to deal with any side effects after taking TruNature digestive probiotics for almost a month, and the Probiotic seems to be free from allergens which is good as recently I have been having issues with Gluten.
Although one must always be careful when using a probiotic as stomachache, constipation, etc. are known side effects of probiotics. (4)
You must carefully read the ingredients before consuming a probiotic supplement as it may contain an allergen. If you suffer from any side effects, then it is best to discontinue the probiotic.
Where To Buy TruNature Probiotics?
TruNature digestive probiotics can be bought at Amazon, Costco, and other retailers. It is best to buy from Amazon as they usually offer the lowest prices and free shipping.
At present, you can buy a bottle of 100 capsules for $18.12 at Amazon, which is worth 3 months of supply as the recommended dosage is 1 capsule a day. (Price accurate as of January 2021)
TruNature is relatively cheap when compared with other similar probiotic supplements, and you also have the option to buy their probiotic gummies. Still, I didn't include them in my best probiotic gummies guide.
I could not find any information about its money-back guarantee, and it seems that the company does not offer any money-back guarantee as far as I am aware.
TruNature Digestive Probiotic Reviews
Most of the reviews of TruNature Digestive Probiotics are quite positive. Captain Kirk mentions that he was able to heal his constipation, bloating with TruNature probiotics, and found it cheaper and effective than other probiotic supplements.
Another customer mentioned in her review how her eczema was cured after taking this probiotic for a few days. She was also able to treat an open wound that was not healing for almost a year despite taking all types of medicines.
Although some users also had a bad experience as Patricia, Patricia writes in her review how she became ill and suffered from a horrible stomach after taking these probiotic capsules.
Still, we must say that most customers were satisfied with TruNature Digestive Probiotics, and only a small number of customers claimed to suffer from the stomach or digestive issues after taking TruNature digestive probiotics in their review.
TruNature Digestive Probiotic is relatively cheap when compared with other similar Probiotics in the market. There is no clear information available on the internet about the company behind this Probiotic.
Still, after a little bit of research, we came across a document that mentions Costco Wholesale as the owner of the TruNature trademark. So, we can say confidently that this is not a scam, and hundreds of positive reviews will attest to the effectiveness of the Probiotic.
In my case, this Probiotic did not help at all with my IBS, bloating, and stomach cramps or weight loss. I suspect that the low CFU count of probiotic strains was the main reason why it did not work for me.
The capsules are easy to swallow and does not leave any bad taste or odor in the mouth. If you are looking for a powerful probiotic, then TruNature may not be the right choice for you.
You can find other similar probiotic supplements with more strains and a higher CFU count for the same price, and I feel that these would be much better than TruNature digestive probiotics.
