Nutrition Essentials Probiotic Review – My SHOCKING Experience
Like many other women in their mid-30s, I have started to learn about things like yeast infections and stomach issues. Our digestive system undergoes several changes, much like other parts of the body as we age (1).
This can make us susceptible to various infections and stomach issues due to the decreasing ability of our immune system.
After comparing several popular products, I decided to buy and review Nutrition Essentials Probiotic from Amazon, which is among the most highly rated probiotic products available in the market today.
In this Nutrition Essentials Probiotic Review, I’ll share my personal experience with readers regarding this popular Probiotic supplement.
What is Nutrition Essentials Probiotic?
Nutrition Essentials Probiotic is made by Nutrition Essentials, an Inc 500 company that also makes Neuro Clarity and Alphaman XL dietary supplements.
Nutrition Essentials Probiotic is one of the highest-rated Acidophilus probiotic supplements which has been designed to help men and women suffering from digestive issues.
It claims to increase calcium absorption leading to increased bone density (4), help with overall digestive health, enhances immunity, and regulate bowel movements. It also claims to fights off the harmful bad bacteria present in the gastrointestinal tract and boosts energy level.
Nutrition Essentials is compliant with GMP and FDA standards. It also doesn’t include any chemicals/preservatives, fillers and can be stored without refrigeration.
Nutrition Essentials Probiotic Ingredients
Nutrition Essentials Probiotic contains the 15 billion CFUs of Bacillus Coagulans probiotic strain. Unlike many other probiotic supplements in the market, this one uses a single strain.
According to WebMD, Bacillus Coagulans is known to be possibly be helpful for several digestive disorders such as Crohn’s disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Ulcerative Colitis.
This strain is also known to potentially reduce the severity of respiratory infections, IBS, traveler’s diarrhea, and common effects of antibiotics according to this study (5).
In addition to Bacillus Coagulans good bacteria, Nutrition Essentials also contains the following natural and safe ingredients:
Nutrition Essentials Probiotic Side Effects
The website or the product package doesn’t list any side effects. Just like when I tried Nature Made recently, I didn’t suffer from any negative effects after using this probiotic supplement.
If you have a lactose intolerance you can take this probiotic since it does not contain any dairy. The probiotic ingredients also do not contain any wheat or gluten.
Although, several other users have complained of stomach ache after using Nutrition Essentials Probiotic and some others also claim to have nausea, and headache after using it continuously for a few days.
Still, the vast majority of online Nutrition Essential Probiotic Reviews are positive, as only a small proportion of people on Amazon reported any bad effects. It is GMP and FDA Certified, after all.
If you experience any side effects, you should consult a medical professional immediately and discontinue use. I am not a Doctor, but you can read the potential side effects of Probiotics here on Healthline.
How to Take Nutrition Essentials Probiotics?
One bottle of Nutrition Essentials Probiotics contains around 60 capsules, which are enough for 30 days at a serving size of 2 tablets per day. They were easy to swallow with a capsule size of 20mm.
You can take the capsules at any time as there are no specific instructions for taking this probiotic supplement. They are not strong so that you could take them on an empty stomach.
Where to buy Nutrition Essentials Probiotics
You can buy Nutrition Essential Probiotics at Amazon or the company’s website here. The price per bottle is the same at $19.99 per bottle at both Amazon and Nutrition Essential website, which is far cheaper compared to Thrive Naturals Probiotics which are $43.95.
You need to initiate the checkout process to know about the shipping rate charged by the company as their shipping rates vary based on the delivery location.
Nutrition Essentials claims to ship their Probiotics to most locations in the world. Although, some countries may have restricted import of probiotics as there are specific import policies in place to regulate the import of medical items and probiotics.
Nutrition Essentials Supplement is an excellent product from a well-established brand that has helped many people suffering from gastrointestinal issues in the past, according to the reviews.
Although I was unable to treat my yeast infection and constipation after using this product, I felt a bit relieved from other stomach issues after using it for a month.
I also suspect that the use of a single strain along with low cell count may be responsible. This is because both these factors make this a much less powerful supplement as compared with other products available in the market.
Many other probiotics offer multiple strains along with 50-60 billion CFUs as compared to the single strain and 15 billion CFU count of Nutrition Essentials.
You can also buy these more powerful probiotics at the same or even cheaper prices. I am still looking for the best probiotic supplements myself.
I’m not saying that Nutrition Essentials is not a useful or good product; it’s the right choice for a person if it works for him or her.
But in my case, I was unable to see significant improvement in my condition. In light of my personal experience, I’d advise users to look for other probiotics, which may prove to be more helpful.
The Bottom Line: Should You Buy It?
You can quickly find more effective probiotic dietary supplements after a little bit of research online.
More and more companies are now offering probiotic supplements that are aimed at helping people suffering from digestive issues.
I have tried and reviewed many other Probiotics that have helped with my health issues at lower prices.
Probiotic Review Girl's Recommendation
You might think I'm crazy...
Most probiotic supplements suck.
I know this from experience. Since launching Probiotic Review Girl in 2019, I bought and tested over 27 different probiotic brands.
I got burned so many times that I eventually did something "crazy"...
At the end of 2021, I launched my own probiotic supplement.
No more stressing about low cfu counts and wether or not the probiotic capsule will survive my stomach acid. I finally have a probiotic supplement I KNOW will work the way I want it too.
I use it everyday after years of battling Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), I now have my energy and social life back!
The positive news? I have made my probiotic supplement available to Probiotic Review Girl readers and you can experience the gut health benefits yourself.
