1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum Review (2023)
I’ve been looking for a longer-term gut health Probiotic Supplements that brings together several probiotic strains, especially after reading up on how great probiotics are meant to be for your health.
After some research, I decided to test 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum over one month, to give it time to show results and let my body get used to it.
In this 1MD Complete Platinum Review, I’ll cover my 1MD Complete Probiotics experience, what the product is, who 1MD are, my views on the cost, the effectiveness and the side effects of the product, and a few FAQs related to it.
I have also asked Dr. Muhammad Usman a Gastroenterologist working at Royal Derby NHS hospital to verify everything I have wrote.
What is 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum ?
Firstly, the reason I picked this probiotic is the manufacturer behind it.
1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum are a supplement manufacturer focused on delivering physician-approved products that give real results.
They mostly work on fitness and diet supplements, which is my main area of interest as a certified nutritionist.
One of the great things about 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum is they are US-based, and FDA standards are met at all their sites.
They use certified raw materials and invest in good-quality, potent ingredients (like probiotic live cultures) that will deliver results.
This might make them slightly more expensive than other products on the market, but you will have the guarantee of a better active probiotic.
The other thing I liked about 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum was their 90-day money-back guarantee policy which shows that they are confident in the product they offer.
Last but not least, their team is made up of actual doctors whose credentials you can review online. Garden Of Life Dr Formulated is another probiotic created by certified neurologist David Perlmutter.
Complete Probiotics Ingredients & Probiotic Formula
One of the critical things I check first with any probiotic supplements is the list of ingredients so that my client can get the most optimal results.
1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum is made up of 11 strains of good bacteria, which is a huge number but variety is great when it comes to probiotics. The strains included, along with their expected benefits, are:
As you can see, there is a lot in there and many different effects that can be expected from Complete Probiotics Platinum. It also includes Nutraflora® Prebiotic Fiber which I think enhances the effects by helping digestive the bacteria in the digestive system.
The great thing is that there is nothing else mixed in with these probiotic strains, other than rice flour and vegetable cellulose – technically fillers that don’t do any harm to the human body or affect the potency of the product.
What may of interest to those on a restricted diet is that these capsules are gluten-free and contain no soy or preservatives, reducing any possible concerns around allergies. They are also suitable for vegans and have no GMOs.
1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum Cost
As far as pricing goes, at first glance, 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum lives up to the name’s indication of it being a premium supplement.
One single bottle with 30 capsules, so enough for one month, costs as much as $49.99 if you only go for one purchase. You can get a slightly better deal with a pack of 3 bottles at $43.99 each, i.e. 12% off on the official website. You should also bear in mind that you only get free shipping if you order a 3-pack.
The most advantageous way to buy Complete Probiotics Platinum is in a pack of 6 bottles, offered for $37.99 each. However, it’s understandable that people just testing it may not want to make this level of financial commitment.
If you’re already satisfied with the Probiotics Platinum and want to commit to using it over the longer term, there are good options for subscribing, which get you up to 40% off the original price. However, this would only work for those who are sure that this is the probiotic for them.
To somewhat soften the blow of these high prices, you do have a 90-day money-back guarantee protecting you, which may help to sway more buyers to try a multi-bottle pack.
Where To Buy Complete Probiotics Platinum Online
Currently at the time of writing (May 2023) there are no retail stores physically stocking this probiotic. You can however purchase it via Amazon, Walmart, CVS, Ebay and Fishpond.
The official 1MD website stills ranks as the cheapest place to buy it when you take coupon discounts into consideration. You will also be protected by their 90-day refund policy when using the official website.
Does Complete Probiotics Platinum Work?
1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum is an excellent product based on a trial over one month. I took it once a day on an empty stomach, so a full bottle, and found that any stomach issues such as cramps or bloating completely disappeared.
I had also had bouts of bacterial vaginosis which went away completely. Another surprising welcome effect I had was weight loss during the time I took it. I think Biotrust Pro x10 might be better for weight loss though.
Complete Probiotics Platinum Side Effects
The reason that 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum is as potent as it has proven is the high concentration of the bacteria it contains (51 billion CFUs).
This does mean that any probiotic side effects, should you be prone to them, will also hit harder.
I was a little apprehensive about the strength of the product, but I was lucky enough not to experience any side effects.
This could be somewhat related to my stomach, having been exposed to probiotics before. Those who have not tried probiotics before should proceed with caution: either start with a less potent probiotic or dose this one low.
I would suggest taking it once every two or even three days, as otherwise, new users will most likely experience initial side effects before reaping any benefits.
According to online customer reviews for complete probiotics platinum, possible side effects include an upset stomach, bloating and gas – the typical, expected side effects to probiotics, which should subside in two weeks.
There are more potential severe interactions with histamine intolerance or in the cases of people with a suppressed immune system, so I would advise checking with your doctor before taking this probiotic if you fall into those categories.
Comparison To Other Probiotics
LiveConscious 45 has a lot of good points, but there are still plenty of other probiotic supplements to choose from. This is how LiveConscious stacks up against some alternatives.
1. LiveConscious Pro 45
LiveConscious and 1MD are popular probiotic brands I like that aim to promote digestive health and overall wellness. LiveConscious Pro 45 and 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum both contain 11 clinically studied probiotic strains, but 1MD has a higher dose of CFUs per capsule. The reason they contain the same strains is because they are both owned by the same company.
LiveConscious is dairy-free, while 1MD contains milk so I never recommend 1MD to vegan clients. LiveConscious is available on Amazon, while 1MD is only available on their website. I have had quite similar results with both of these probiotics which is down to the same strains used.
2. Bio Complete 3
I am big fan of Bio Complete 3 which is a supplement that contains a variety of ingredients to support gut health. However, there are some differences between 1MD and BC3.
Bio Complete 3 contains Bacillus coagulans, which is a soil-based probiotic, along with prebiotic fiber and tributyrin, a short-chain fatty acid. It is designed to improve digestion, reduce inflammation, and support immune function. I have found that tributyrin has worked really well with my clients gut health.
On the other hand, 1MD's Complete Probiotics Platinum contains a blend of 11 probiotic strains, including Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium lactis, and Lactobacillus plantarum, among others. It is formulated to promote healthy digestion, support immune function, and improve nutrient absorption.
3. BioTrust ProX10
BioTrust Pro X10 and 1MD are both probiotic supplements with strains that support gut and immune health. BioTrust Pro X10 has 6 strains, while 1MD has 11 strains, including Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium Lactis.
1MD has a higher dosage of 50 billion CFUs per serving, while BioTrust Pro X10 has 25 billion CFUs per serving. I often recommend lower CFU's to client's new to probiotics to limit initial side effects so BioTrust Pro X10 would be a better choice.

This supplement is a premium probiotic, and it lives up to the indicated high quality of the product.
Its multi-strain composition worked well for me, and I found it to be potent enough, with the mention that it may be TOO potent for those less used to probiotics.
Despite the higher price, I would be happy to recommend 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum.
I would give it 4 stars out of 5 (it would be 5 stars had it been a bit cheaper).
