BioTrust Pro-X10 Review

In this review, I will review BioTrust Pro-x10 daily probiotics and will shed light on all the aspects of this popular probiotic supplement.

BioTrust is a leading brand that is well-known for its dietary supplements and has been around since 2012.

At the end of this Bio Trust Pro X10 Probiotic Review, you will be able to decide for yourself if BioTrust Pro-x10 is a legitimate product or another probiotic/health scam.

Ingredients & Strains

BioTrust Pro-x10 includes a probiotic blend of 5 potent strains, namely Bifidobacterium breve, Bifidobacterium Lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus Plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus.

Each serving contains 4 billion CFUs of their proprietary probiotic blend, and a single serving delivers probiotics worth 50 billion CFUs a day.

Other ingredients include 1 billion CFUs of Bacillus subtilis, 7.5 mg of PreforPro®, a non-fiber prebiotic along with rice dextrin, gelatin, and medium-chain triglyceride.

Their proprietary probiotic blend is also a good one, as they have combined several useful strains in a single blend.

Lactobacillus acidophilus has been shown to potentially help with diarrhea, high cholesterol, relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, and other health issues. (1)

At the same time, Bifidobacterium lactis is known to sometimes help patients who have ulcerative colitis. (2)

Lactobacillus Plantarum is a probiotic derived from plants and is usually found in plant-based foods such as sourdough bread, sauerkraut, kimchi, and olive brine. Lactobacillus Plantarum is known to be beneficial for your immune system and has anti-inflammatory properties that some studies indicate may protect you from inflammation and infections. (3

Bio Pro-X10 Side Effects

Prox-10 is gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free and can be used by vegans also. There is no information about the presence of any allergen.

Still, we can safely assume that the product is free of allergens as otherwise, the company would have mentioned this fact on the labeling.

The only possible allergen is yeast in the form of Yeast Saccharomyces boulardii. If you are allergic to yeast, then you must avoid this probiotic.

Although you must be aware of the general side effects of probiotics, including bloating, gas, stomachache, etc.,

A small number of people suffer from these side effects, and in most of the cases, the side effects last only for the first few days of taking the probiotic and disappear after a few days. (4)

My Experience Taking Bio Pro X10

I did not have a good experience with this probiotic as I felt it was too strong for me. After taking 2 capsules daily, I started to feel bloating and stomach pain.

I initially thought that the pain would subside after a couple of days, but it persisted, and I had to stop taking these capsules after a week.

The capsules are small and easy to swallow. In addition to the pain and bloating, this probiotic also did not help me with my diarrhea and other digestive issues.

Where to Buy?

You can buy Pro-x10 from the BioTrust website, where a single bottle containing 60 servings worth 30 days’ supply sells for $49.

There also discounts available if you buy larger supplies in the form of 3 bottles or 6 bottles with a 3-bottle pack costing you $44 per bottle or savings of 10%.

While a 6-bottle package will cost you $39 per bottle resulting in savings of $20%.

BioTrust also gives you a subscription option, where you can get 1, 2, or 3 bottles every 4 weeks automatically.

The price paid for the subscription option is also a bit lower as you pay a price of $39 per bottle irrespective of the quantity if you select the subscription option.

The company has a 60-day return policy where you can get the money back by returning the remaining number of capsules to the company along with the original invoice within 60 days of receiving the product.

The company ships all the recurring or subscription orders free of cost within the US and international destinations.

At the same time, one-time orders have a shipping charge of $6.95 for orders shipped to the US, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. International shipping is calculated at the time of check-out for one-time orders.

A single bottle bought as a one-time charge costs $55.95, including $49 for the bottle plus the shipping cost of $6.95, which means that every single capsule costs around 90 cents, which is quite expensive if compared with other similar probiotics. It is also available on Amazon.

Final Thoughts

We can conclude that BioTrust Pro-x10 is not a scam and is a genuine product. Although it did not work out for me, and the side effects were quite severe for me.

I suppose this was because the overall CFU count is almost equivalent to 50 billion CFUs as cited by the company, and this would mean that it is a strong probiotic.

I would not recommend this product due to its side effects, ineffectiveness, and high cost when compared with other similar probiotics. You can buy much better probiotics for almost half the price of this one and possibly even lower.
